Hydraform’s Radway Green project wins at the 9th SACA Awards
[Johannesburg, 5 October 2016]: Hydraform, leaders in alternative building technology since 1988, won ‘Best Public Sector Excellence of the Year’ category of the 9th South African Construction Awards for their work on the Radway Green Farm project.
The awards took place on the 7th of October 2016, in Johannesburg. The South African Construction Awards recognize top construction projects built by South African companies.
Hydraform’s work on the Radway Green Farm project in the Eastern Cape (South Africa), which not only provided housing for the local inhabitants, but also imparted invaluable skills and technology to the community for a more sustainable way of life, was nominated in the ‘Best Public Sector Excellence of the Year’ category. This was the first time Hydraform was nominate for this award.
Through their recognition of excellence in construction, the SACA Awards also aim to encourage and celebrate creativity, professionalism and innovation in construction. The awards also support improved business planning, development and internal analysis; provide a benchmark for best practice within the industry; continuously improve and raise standards; and provide a better South African economic growth.
This award demonstrates the vision of the company to see Hydraform buildings in every village and town improving the lives of all our stakeholders.
