Head Office
From humble beginnings in a corner of Jochen Kofahl’s garage,
Hydraform grew to a point that new premises were needed
and a house was purchased for occupation in 1995. Then even
that wasn’t enough and the property had to be completely
redeveloped to better serve the needs of the burgeoning
business.
Enter renowned architect Peter Rich, who was brought on board
specifically to head up the renovation. His design instructions
called upon him to incorporate Hydraform’s interlocking soil
cement blocks into the existing structure. The final result was
an aesthetically pleasing modern building with great thermal
properties.
Bigger and
Better
As the business grew, so did the need for bigger premises, which presented an ideal
opportunity for Hydraform to make use of its own building system.
Beginning in Jochen’s garage, Hydraform moved to new premises in 1995.
Hydraform’s newly renovated head office was completed in 2010.
